- Happy Birthday to AUNG SAN SUU KYI
Today, June 18th, is Aung's 64th birthday. We mark this occasion to remember another political prisoner who needs our help. Aung Kyi was awarded the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought in 1991 and Nobel Peace Prize in 1992. She was elected by the people to be Prime Minister of Burma (Myanmar), but instead has spent the last 19 years either in hiding or languishing as a prisoner in horrendous conditions, as she is today.

- Animal Migrations - A Thing of the Past
Yet, another sign that we are in big trouble. Studies are still inconclusive, data is scarce or non-existent, however, what data has been analyzed shows that in Africa alone, five of the big six migrating species - no longer migrate at all. Zero.
