Egypt: The Return of The Jedi Ending

Remember at the end of the Return of the Jedi when the entire universe celebrated the blowing up of the Death Star and rejoiced that the evil Emperor was dead?

Well, something like that is happening RIGHT NOW across the Middle East. With the victory of the people over the dictator impromptu celebrations are spreading like wildfire.

Palestinians in Gaza let off fireworks, Tunisians drove through streets blaring car horns and Lebanese fired guns in the air. Moments after Egypt's Vice President Omar Suleiman made the announcement of Mubarak's resignation, fireworks lit up the sky over Beirut. Celebratory gunfire rang out in the Shiite-dominated areas in south Lebanon and in southern Beirut.

"God delivered our Egyptian brothers from this dictator," said Yacoub Youssef, one of those celebrating in the capital of Tunis.

In the Gaza Strip, ruled by the Islamic militant Hamas, thousands rushed into the streets in jubilation. Gunmen fired in the air and women handed out candy. "God bless Egypt, it's a day of joy and God willing all corrupt leaders in the world will fall," said Radwa Abu Ali, 55, one of the women distributing sweets.

On Al-Manar TV, the station run by the Shiite Muslim Hezbollah faction, Egyptian anchor Amr Nassef, who was once imprisoned in Egypt for alleged ties to Islamists, cried emotionally on the air and said: "Allahu Akbar (God is great), the Pharaoh is dead. Am I dreaming? I'm afraid to be dreaming."

The Omni Report is overjoyed for the people of Egypt today. We only hope that this leads to a new better era and doesn't disintergrate into another mess.

We also hope that the people of the great country of Iran, who once led the Middle East in science, mathematics, medicine and all areas of higher learning, including women's rights before throwing out one regime and being taken over by Islamic extrememists FEBRUARY 11, 1979, will also rise up. (Yes, the revolt in Iran ended to the day as this Egyptian one.) Too often only the students of Iran make revolt, allowed to run amuk for a couple of days, before the regime there publicly hangs them from cranes. Last time, a couple of years ago, dozens of bodies hung from the cranes for days to instill fear into the people. ALL of Iran needs to stand up and tell Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to get the hell out. If Egypt can do it so can they. The same goes for everyone in North Korea, China and the god forsaken flea bag country Afghanistan.

Cheers to the FREE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!

UPDATE: Not only is this the day of the Iranian Revolution also, but is the same day that Nelson Mandela was released from prison, 21 years ago today!

Thankfully there are no Ewoks in Egypt! And not meaning any disrespect to our Muslim brothers, but holy cow I just started laughing when I saw the word Akbar and couldn't help thinking "It's a trap!" I sure hope it's not and best wishes to all Egyptians. Now is YOUR time!
