Ken Jennings is Toast

In Watson's trial run today it beat Ken Jennings and the other guy hands down with 10 mega bytes tied behind its back.

We're talking about the Artificial Intelligence nicknamed Watson. Watson cleared the first category without Ken getting a buzz in. Not one. See the look on the other guy's face? Not good.

Oh-boy. The much hyped Jeopardy contest is to take place February 14-16th, but in today's trial it kicked human ass.

Watson is able "to scour its roughly 200 million pages of stored content -- about 1 million books worth -- and find an answer with confidence in as little as 3 seconds."

Day-Umm. Poor Ken is going to regret trying this "Big Blue vs. Kasparov" forte fast. We have a feeling he's going to call in sick in February.

We wish him luck anyway. Ken is a great guy.
