SNL - Best Friends Skit

The Andy Samberg SNL Digital Short skits are always hit or miss. However, when they hit they are almost certainly pretty damn funny.

This weekend was one.

The reason we are even posting this skit (and why we even care) is captured in two words: VAL KILMER. How they got him to do a skit and where they even found him remains a mystery.

Enjoy the creepy, scary and funny, Val Kilmer.

Steve Rogers, American Airlines

Alec Baldwin killed it on SNL this weekend. Here he is pretending to be an American Airlines pilot, Steve Rogers.

And in More British News...Fenton the Dog

Ahhh, the calm tranquility of London's Richmond Park. The deer are plenty and are grazing peacefully. The traffic on the boundary road is light and the day is just clear and perfect. What a nice day to walk the dog.

Once you watch this video you'll see why it's gone viral. And if you've ever owned a dog that tends to chase things, you can feel this guys embarrassing pain.

Care to bet on who can run faster - a herd of deer, a dog named Fenton or a man? Hint: It is SO not the man.

And since the deer were not hurt, we find it hilarious.

Ab Fab 2011

Absolutely Fabulous is celebrating it's 20th!

Eddie and Pats are returning for a new season that includes a three-part Christmas special. Yay!

Everyone is commenting on how great the cast looks. Jane Horrocks (Bubble) is 47, Julia Sawalha (Saffy) is 43, Jennifer Saunders (Edina) is 53, June Whitfield (mom) is 86, and Joanna Lumley (Patsy) is 65.

Amazing!

Jennifer Saunders, who plays the super-cool yet hot-mess Edina, and is the creator/writer for the show, is in remission from her breast cancer ordeal from the last couple of years and seems ready to bring Ab Fab back to prime time and possibly to A MOVIE THEATER NEAR YOU.

'We thought it would be hilarious if [Edina and Patsy] went to a party on an oligarch’s yacht, got drunk, fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the ocean,' she said.

Well, considering Eddie and Patsy get drunk and wake up everywhere else, why not?

Here's a sneak peek at the Christmas special airing soon on BBC1.

Talk Like a Pirate Day

For everythin' you need t' know about why today exsists includin' how t' talk like a pirate go here:
Talk Like a Pirate.com

And t' help you speak it better or at all in our case:
Talk Like a Pirate - English to Pirate Translator

Here is The Gettysburg Address in pirate speak because you know Abraham Lincoln was a pirate at heart.

"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated t' t' proposition that all men be created equal.

Now we be engaged in a great civil war, testin' whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We be met on a great battle-field o' that war. We have come t' dedicate a portion o' that field, as a final restin' place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It be altogether fittin' and proper that we should do this.

"But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. T' brave men, livin' and went t' Davy Jones' locker, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power t' add or detract. T' world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It be for us t' livin', rather, t' be dedicated here t' t' unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. "

It be rather for us t' be here dedicated t' t' great task remainin' before us -- that from these honored went t' Davy Jones' locker we take increased devotion t' that cause for which they gave t' last full meaaye o' devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these went t' Davy Jones' locker shall not have went t' Davy Jones' locker in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth o' freedom -- and that government o' t' people, by t' people, for t' people, shall not perish from t' earth."

Shark Week vs. Bear Week

Discovery Channel fans everywhere are celebrating Shark Week, to the tune of almost 35 million viewers nightly.

It has been pointed out, correctly so, that we shouldn't be afraid of sharks, we should be afraid for them. They are being hunted mercilessly for their fins and cruelly attacked and "finned" before being let go to die in agony.

So go and protect a shark. It's the right thing to do.

Now, however, although sharks are awesomely awesome in every way, the entire Shark Week..week..is being contested by the guys and gals over at Collegehumor.com.

In an insanely hilarious piece, Kevin Corrigan, has put together the top ten reasons to have BEAR Week instead of Shark Week.

Read Kevin's college humor here. You won't regret it.

The World's Most Expensive Car Crash

What do you get when you crash a £250,000 Bentley into a Mercedes, a Porsche, a Ferrari AND an Aston Martin?

This:

"It was a line-up of the finest supercars in one of the world's wealthiest hotspots, Monte Carlo's Place du Casino.

But what started as a parade of high-priced horsepower turned into an impromptu game of demolition derby - when a hapless blonde scraped her £250,000 Bentley Azure down the side of a £75,000 Mercedes S Class.

Her 2.7 tonne beast then crashed into a £140,000 black Ferrari F430, before going head on into an £80,000 Porsche 911 and a £140,000 Aston Martin Rapide.

The driver, and her two passengers, then had the humiliation of watching hundreds of tourists circle the scene as they were unable to open the doors of the British-built convertible."

HILARIOUS! $800,000 worth of cars - smashed in under 25 seconds.
We're waiting for the video to surface...and we'll bring it to you!

"Oh My God, I Have a Vagina!"

Have you seen the new Summer's Eve commercials? Well, never you mind if you haven't, because America's pal, Stephen Colbert, has. And what he has to say about them is pretty hilarious!

Can't Say Gay? Say Takei! Because "It's Okay to Be Takei"

George Takei is a wonderful human being. Long known for his sense of humor, George is a loving, happy man that happens to also be gay and a gay advocate and supporter.

We saw him once at a Star Trek convention (yes, proud Trekkies here) and instead of going onstage and rambling on about Star Trek, George did what Brent Spiner (Data) does at these things...he gave us a 20 minute stand-up comedy routine. AND IT KILLED.

George is freakin' HILARIOUS.

For those of you that have followed him for years as an awesome guest on The Howard Stern Show, you know this. As for the rest of you, you can probably youtube or google him to see how genuinely warm and compassionate and funny he has always been. You can find the "Sulu Dance" on youtube...Stern fans have laughed at this for years.

For now, his cause is fighting the gay hating people of Tennessee with humor. It always angers angry people more when you laugh at them. George is a master of this.

Watch this:

And get your It's Okay to Be Takei stuff here: It's Okay to Be Takei.com

Lady Gaga may have been born this way, but it's okay to be Takei.
