R.I.P's

Keith Little at 87 years of age

You don't know his name or any of the other Navajo Code Talkers from WWII, but you do know their story and what they accomplished. Keith Little, one of the remaining surviving Codetalkers, passed away on Tuesday. There are now only 3 Navajo codetalkers left.

Keith was only 17 years old when he joined the Marine Corps and was trained as a Codetalker.

The Codetalkers were from many Native American nations and started in WWI with the Choctaw language. However, it was the use of Navajo in WWII that may have changed the entire outcome of the war. The Japanese were unable to break the code. Astonishingly, once a word was used as code over the radio it was NEVER USED AGAIN. The code proved infallible.

"The Navajo code talkers were commended for their skill, speed and accuracy accrued throughout the war. At the Battle of Iwo Jima, Major Howard Connor, 5th Marine Division signal officer, had six Navajo code talkers working around the clock during the first two days of the battle. These six sent and received over 800 messages, all without error. Connor later stated, "Were it not for the Navajos, the Marines would never have taken Iwo Jima.""

Keith Little's dream was a museum to honor the memory of the Navajo in WWII and his surviving relatives say they will continue to pursue this with a museum in Arizona.

The Navajo nation will be celebrating Mr. Little's life today and tomorrow at his funeral. Flags are flying half-staff until Sunday in his honor.

And the saddest news of the day comes from the Amazon. This is unconscionably sick. Brazilian loggers killed an 8 year old girl by tying her to a tree and setting her on fire.

"Loggers in Brazil who had illegally entered an Amazon Indian reserve captured an eight-year-old indigenous girl and burned her alive, it was claimed today.
The child, who belonged to the isolated Gwaja-Awa tribe, is believed to have wandered away from her village to play and got lost in the forest."

This story doesn't deserve to be covered up, so we are posting it here. We may never know this little girl's name but we mourn her no less. May she rest in peace.

And may the men who did this burn in hell.

All That is Wrong with the United States of America Justice System in ONE Case

Pop Quiz:

Q: What is the penalty for getting caught with a SHITLOAD marijuana for sale in Alabama?

A: It's MANDATORY LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE. No questions, straight to jail FOR YOUR ENTIRE NATURAL GOD CURSED LIFE.

Q: What's the Ohio penalty for beating your 6-week old baby until he's blind and has permanent brain damage?

A: Eight years - tops. Parole eligibility not disclosed but is an option.

This is what's fucking wrong with this country. Period.

Some asshole in Ohio did this to his kid and only got an 8 year sentence - the MAXIMUM ALLOWED BY LAW. What the flipping fuck? Are you serious?

The Judge in this case was fucking appalled as well saying this:
'You destroyed your son’s life and he’s ruined. He’s blind,' Ruehlman told McRoberts.'(He) won’t be able to function or hardly walk. Six weeks old, beat this kid, page after page of (his) injuries. Broken ribs, Broken skull. Six-week-old little baby. Damaged brain and you only get eight years.'

Fuck you Rick Santorum and Sarah Palin and everyone who is "for the children". NO YOU ARE NOT. If you were, we'd actually have laws in this country that punish those who hurt and molest kids.

Instead you are all giving millionaires tax breaks and working on NOTHING!

War on Drugs? How about we start a new war? The War on Stupidity and Senselessness!

This shit is fucking ridiculous.

Back in the day, Americans knew how to handle this stuff. It was called "this guy got the shit beat out of him before he even saw a court of law". It was ordinary people DOING THE RIGHT THING. Not vigilantism - going out and killing bad guys - but good old fashioned sense. The cops should have worked this guy over. For the little boy who will now need US, (you and me the taxpayers), to pay for his medical care FOR LIFE.

Where is the accountability in anything these days? This is bullshit.

6 weeks old and his own father beat the shit out of him.

The father's name is Nick McRoberts. He's in prison in Ohio and gets out in 8 years. Keep looking over your shoulder, Nicky boy. When the inmates are done fucking you up the ass 7 times a day, every day, for 8 years, you'll have the American Public to deal with.

We'll update with news on the baby and any fund raisers for him.

Ireland Bans Puppy Farms!

A mistreated factory farmed Irish puppy

What a great day for all the unborn pups in Ireland!

No longer will unscrupulous greedy people be allowed to breed puppies in cruel and horrid conditions.

Apparently, Ireland was once the puppy farm capital of Europe and was shamed into legislation by undercover videos showing the shocking conditions of the farms.

The good people of Ireland have won and now the animals are protected by not one but TWO new laws that went into effect New Years Day.

They are the Welfare of Greyhounds Act and the Dogs Breeding Establishments Act.

"Local authority vets also have the right and obligation to inspect all breeding locations.

They can immediately shut down any kennels where animals are not being properly cared for.

All Irish puppies will be micro-chipped and can now be traced back to the breeder."

40 Years and Counting

Do you know this man?

On November 24, 1971 a man by the name of Dan Cooper successfully hijacked an American airplane and got away with it and the money.

Cooper's escapade is undoubtedly one of the most successful single handed heists in history. True, he only took $200,000.000 but in 1971 dollars that was over a million. And his legend has endured all this time making him kind of a folk hero even though today he would be branded a terrorist.

People are in awe of Cooper and how the hell he managed to get away with it. Or did he? Does his body still lie undiscovered in the vast wilderness of the Pacific Northwest? Perhaps a Bigfoot found him, nursed him back to health and has held him captive all this time?

D.B. Cooper no matter what the outcome will always be legend. Because he got away with it. He might be dead but he is not nor ever was caught and prosecuted. We still root for this guy. Fuck it.

Most of all, we root for him, because no one got hurt. He was a nice hijacker. The guy was very polite to the flight staff (well, except for frightening the stewardesses with a bomb!) and even let them eat dinner. He also released all hostages after receiving the money.

This story is a doozy and all the more entertaining because the details are amazing. Personally, we think he did get away with it and lived for a while but is probably dead now. We may well never know the truth of who exactly D.B. was.

Was the identity of Dan Cooper based on a French comic book named DAN COOPER?

What Really Happend to Natalie Wood - UPDATED

We originally posted this on 7/20/11 and in light of the breaking news today that the LA County Sheriff's Department is re-opening the case it's super relevant!

Actress Natalie Wood was born this day in 1938. She died November 29, 1981.

How beloved was Natalie Wood by her Hollywood peers? Well, her pall bearers were: Rock Hudson, Frank Sinatra, Laurence Olivier, Gregory Peck, David Niven, Fred Astaire and movie director Elia Kazan.

Her funeral was attended by over 1,000 people and included Elizabeth Taylor and Gene Kelly.

In life she starred in over 50 major motion pictures including some of the best and biggest of all time: Miracle on 34th Street, The Searchers, West Side Story, Splendor in the Grass, Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, Rebel Without a Cause and one of our all time personal favorites, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

She was nominated 3 times for an Academy Award and nominated multiple times for Golden Globes, winning twice.

Her death at age 43, remains an open mystery. Natalie was married a few times in her life and like Elizabeth Taylor two of those marriages were to the same man, Robert Wagner (Of recent Austin Powers movie fame.)

On the night in question, November 29, 1981, she was on her and Robert's yacht with fellow actor Christopher Walken and the boat Captain. She was found drowned the next morning, clad in a nightgown, jacket and socks. The official story is that she went outside late that night/early that morning to secure a dingy that kept banging against the boat, slipped, fell in the water and accidentally drowned.

Her sister, actress Lana, insists that Natalie would never go out at night like that and secure a boat. Besides, she had THREE other men on board that could have done that for her, including one (the Captain) that was on the payroll to specifically take care of that kind of thing.

The Captain insists to this day he saw and heard Natalie and Robert having a terrible fight on deck early that morning and that all of sudden Robert was alone saying, "she's gone." The implication here is that he threw her overboard or accidentally/inadvertently caused her to fall overboard.

The police ruled that because of the level of alcohol in her bloodstream (super high)and because they believed Wagner's story that is was an accident.

Christopher Walken has NEVER ONCE spoken publicly about that night. Wagner never said much either. His autobiography from a few years ago basically just says this:

According to Wagner, tensions came to the boil during a late dinner on the couple's yacht Splendor, which was moored off the island of Santa Catalina, near Los Angeles, after Walken suggested that Wood should star in more films instead of caring for two young children.

Wagner admits he lost his temper over the remark and smashed a wine bottle on the table, prompting Wood to go below to their cabin. He and Walken then went up on deck to cool down. At about midnight he returned to the cabin and discovered that his wife was missing. Then he realised that the yacht's dinghy had gone too. That's when he remarked to the Captain, "She's gone."

This implies that he thought maybe she had just taken the smaller boat to shore and left him. He was so drunk he might not have even known she was dead.

Her body was found by authorities later that day.

Her sister, Lana, as of March 2010, asked the LA police to re-open this "case" and reinvestigate. No word on that, but considering the LA police face thousands of homicides a year and this incident happened 30 years ago this November, we'd say it's over.

WRONG! Case re-opened 11/18/11

Sheriff's Office has "new information"

Lana's story is conveyed through this news article from a couple of years ago.

We'll never know what really happened that night unless Christoper Walken or Robert Wagner give some sort of tell all.

Until then, it's still up in the air...Lover's squabble that led to accidental death, drunken accident or deliberate murder...?

The Sick and UnHappy Valley

Penn State has rightly forced Joe Paterno out of his gilded office. Like a Catholic Bishop, Joe Pa ignored the child for the "good" of the church or in this case college.

We've never worshipped at the altar of the Nittany Lion, so we can say here without any deep regret or remorse, that Joe Paterno has proved himself to be a despicable human being.

Far more than the hideousness that is Sandusky, the molester.

Why?

Easy.

Sandusky is a pedophile. Meaning, there is something mentally ill or ill-wired in his brain. He is, of course, still responsible for his heinous behaviour. But, it can be explained away that he's a sick motherfucker and deserves to rot in prison for his crimes.

What's Coach Paterno's excuse? Or assistant Mike McQueary's? Or president Graham B. Spanier's? athletic director Tim Curley's? Or vice president Gary Schultz's?

Why did none of these men immediately call 911?

The same reason Catholic Bishops don't call 911 when they learn of a pedophile priest. To protect the institution over the welfare of the child.

For that reason alone, Paterno is worse than a jack ass, he's a scumbag. Pure and simple. Whatever reasons he had to sit back and do nothing do not matter.

And to boot, this pedophile Sandusky ran a CHILDREN'S Charity. AND ALL OF THE ABOVE KNEW. THEY KNEW!.

End of story. These men knew that Sandusky had a history of harming boys and let him continue to prey on other victims and they did it without care.

How very Roman Catholic of them.

Its disgusting. As far as we are concerned this is like a criminal syndicate or something. A pedophile ring.

What good friends they were to Sandusky. They gave him a beautiful severance package with parking passes and a lifetime office in the building with other young people everywhere. They let him go and run his charity, dealing daily with even younger people. All potential victims. But hey!, they forced him to retire. Wasn't that enough? Not even close.

What lousy, despicable, enablers and sad excuses for human beings they are.

They are not Penn State.

The Nittany Lion cries for itself, its history and all the good and great people that distinguished University has turned out over the years.

But it will never cry for men that turned their backs on the children and enabled the rapist. Never.

And we don't cry for them either. In fact, we spit on them. We don't care how great a coach Paterno was, or how great a president Spanier was, or why McQueary called his father instead of 911. We.Just.Don't.Care.

The bottom line is that nothing was done to put Sandusky behind bars. And hey, maybe it's all the DA's fault that Sandusky didn't go to prison earlier, but once again we point out:

Sandusky ran a children's charity and the Penn State "Boys Club" did nothing.

Nothing to stop it.

Nittany Liars

Who? What? Where? Joe's suddenly clueless

The news coming out of Penn State gets more and more hideous every second. And it's got beloved coach Joe Paterno facing a firing squad. His job is literally on the line.

As is should be. Joe's gotta go. He's claiming he didn't know the details of what exactly happened. Not good enough.

Rush Limbaugh is arguing today that the press cannot wait to vilify 'ole Joe Pa fast enough. "Joe Paterno, up until now, has had something that very few people in this country die with -- and that's an impeccable reputation.

But that's gone now, and the media is going to see to it, and this is all part of a nation in decline."

Oh really, Rush? We thought the Decline of Western Civilization had something to do with YOU in all honesty. But it's really just the media, huh?

The bottom line is that Joe Paterno didn't go all red in the face calling this pedophile out and because of that it's implied that he was somehow complicit or has little moral standing on the issue.

We think the real problem is that all Joe can think of is football. The entire time the informant was blowing the whistle on this pedophile, Joe was just probably zoned out thinking of what players he was going to use in the next game. And that is what's irreversibly ruined his reputation, Rush. Not the media.

But the fact that Joe's old and he should have retired years ago anyway, doesn't change anything.

The bottom line is that there are men out there now dealing with what that pedophile did to them as kids. How about the poor 10 year old who had his rape WITNESSED and REPORTED and nothing was done? How did that kid feel?

We bet it's worse than Joe feels now.

We have no sympathy for Penn State, Joe Paterno or any of the adults who failed to report these crimes to the cops. In fact, we'd like to punch each one of them in the face for letting little defenseless boys get raped on campus or anywhere. Period.

TAKE IT TO THE SUPREME COURT

What does this look like to you?
Rhymes with...ABUSE, maybe?

In a devastating setback to Animal Rights, yet ANOTHER court, the Appeals Court, has dismissed a case against Ringling Brothers for abusing its elephants.

This is ridiculously sad and tragic.

Obviously the 3-person appeals panel is ABSOLUTELY CLUELESS and/or hiding behind minutiae detail that in another day and age would be looked over. In an age when OJ and Casey Anthony were set free on society and Troy Davis executed, it's extremely difficult to get justice at all.

This lawsuit was brought by 2 independent animal rights groups that came together for the cause. Both the The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and the Animal Protection Institute (API), we think, were in the rights here to make this case.

AND WE URGE THEM TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL,
THE SUPREME COURT.

"Never give up. Never surrender."

Elephants are highly social, emotional and smart animals. Beating them as babies to make them perform for the next 50 years is as unconscionable, cruel and disgusting as it gets. Ringling Brothers is a fucking nightmare. NEVER TAKE YOUR KIDS TO A CIRCUS. NEVER.

It's Time. Don't You Think?

From the petition site:

We petition the Obama Administration to:
Legalize and Regulate Marijuana in a Manner Similar to Alcohol.

We the people want to know when we can have our "perfectly legitimate" discussion on marijuana legalization. Marijuana prohibition has resulted in the arrest of over 20 million Americans since 1965, countless lives ruined and hundreds of billions of tax dollars squandered and yet this policy has still failed to achieve its stated goals of lowering use rates, limiting the drug's access, and creating safer communities.

Isn't it time to legalize and regulate marijuana in a manner similar to alcohol?

If not, please explain why you feel that the continued criminalization of cannabis will achieve the results in the future that it has never achieved in the past?

R.I.P Troy Davis

We must reiterate our sincere condolences, even after all these years, to Officer MacPhail's family. Officer MacPhail DID NOT deserve to die. He seems to have been a good and honorable man that was helping out a homeless man when he was senselessly and needlessly gunned down. That's absolutely horrible and we really feel for his family.

We are also offering condolences to Troy Davis' family. This has been a nightmare that they can't escape from either.

Whether he is innocent or guilty matters only a little because both families have been hurt so much and that's the true sin. Matters have only been made worse because instead of one dead man, we now have two.

We vehemently DO NOT OPPOSE THE DEATH PENALTY. Yes we are radical left wing bleeding heart liberals but as the...and we can't believe we are typing this...State of Texas proved last night, the death penalty is completely apropos in certain situations.

Brewer, the ass wipe who murdered James Byrd, deserved the death penalty if ever we heard of a reason.

People who cold bloodily murder other people for senseless or hate filled reasons deserve the death penalty or more accurately, we the people deserve to live without the risk of them ever being free again.

Appeals for Brewer were over. No one protested for him. He was caught and convicted and put to death for it. The way he killed his victim was heinous and he was LUCKY to get lethal injection and not hung or hooked up to 'ole Sparky. Islamic law would have dictated he be stoned to death - and not in the 420 good way.

We just cannot justify not having a death penalty of any kind. We find that ridiculous. The reason society is in total and complete decline is because we hardly have standards, discipline or accountability anymore. If we declare ourselves to be morally above the death penalty then we are just asking for the dregs of society that do these heinous things and then to just live in jail for their natural lives on the taxpayers tit. No thank you.

It's bad enough the prisons are filled with unjustly convicted minorities and people convicted for marijuana offenses. The dichotomy of justice is mind-boggling. It's bad enough as it is without having the option of putting these fucking low lives out of our misery.

So in that respect we beg to differ from Jimmy Carter, the Pope and everyone else taking the super moral high road today. They will continue to take that road until it's their family member that's been dragged by a 24 foot chain alive for 3 miles before being decapitated by a drain pipe because an unrepentant "glad I did it" scumbag was hatin' on "niggers" that day.

The galling part of last night is that in this country it is practically beaten into us that convictions are supposed to come without any reasonable doubt.

There was no doubt that Brewer was a white supremest and killed Byrd because he was black.

There was and is, however, doubt that Troy Davis pulled the trigger on an unarmed off-duty police officer. Enough doubt to put all of us up in arms over it.

It was wrong. Whether he was innocent or guilty, there wasn't sufficient evidence to put him to death for it.

What happened last night was a national shame.

R.I.P Troy Davis - You are before the Ultimate Judge now and may He have mercy on all of our souls. Brewer's too. If he had one.

And in More Execution News...

Wow, the Executioner is busy!

This one we agree with wholeheartedly.

"Lawrence Russell Brewer, 44, is scheduled to be put to death by lethal injection at 6pm for his part in the 1998 killing of James Byrd, Jr in East Texas."

We remember this horrific crime as if it were yesterday.

"Brewer was one of three men convicted of killing Byrd after they offered him a lift along a remote country road.

Byrd, 49, was beaten unconscious and urinated upon before being bound to the vehicle by his ankles with a heavy logging chain and driven for three miles.

Forensic evidence showed that he was alive for much of the ordeal but was killed when the vehicle hit a concrete drainage channel causing his head and arm to be ripped from his body."

We know. That's one of the most awful fucking things you can imagine.

Of the other two men, one got life in prison and the other's case is still under appeal.

It was a sad tragedy and now justice will be served, somehow.

They made a movie about this murder, called "Jasper, Texas" and it's very good. It stars one of our all-time favorite actors Louis Gossett, Jr.

We hope James Byrd can Rest In Peace.

"Titanic" Necklace Stolen

A necklace that was recovered from the wreck of the Titanic has been stolen from the museum that housed it.

And it's pretty "embarassing" too according to the museum's executives.

The showcase had not been broken into and the alarm never went off. You can't get any clearer signs of an inside job than that. The museum execs are pissed.

The museum in question is none other than the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. Tivoli Gardens opened on August 15, 1843 - 69 years before the Titanic disaster - and is the second-oldest amusement park in the world. It's the most visited theme park in Scandinavia, hosting 4.5 million annual visitors.

It was originally called Tivoli-Vauxhall.

The necklace was owned by first-class passenger Eleanor Wildener of Philadelphia, who survived the Titanic sinking, according to maritime historian Claes Goran Wetterholm.

She died 1937 never knowing her necklace had been raised from the deep and in 2011, a full one hundred years after the disaster, would still be roaming the world.

The Long Arm of "Justice"

The facts are this:

On the night of Aug. 19, 1989 off-duty Police officer Mark MacPhail was shot dead while trying to help a homeless man that was being attacked. Nothing could be worse than that. A good man, rushing in to help someone who gets shot dead.

Except if an innocent man is put to death for it. A man that may or may not have had anything to do with Officer MacPhail's senseless killing.

Despite the fact that 7 out of 10 witnesses recanted their testimony, despite the fact that people including an ex-President AND a former FBI director are against it and despite the fact that Amnesty International is calling it "unconscionable", the fact is that Troy Davis has been denied clemency and WILL DIE TONIGHT by lethal injection at 7pm.

That's a lot of facts. And the ambiguity in the actual guilty verdict is too much to bear and overwhelming when put against the death penalty.

If we allow this to happen as a society then we are going down a terrible and dangerous road.

We really don't quote 'ole Rev. Al on Omni but we will today. Here is what he had to say:
"This is probably the most egregious injustice I have seen in a long time, to set a precedent that a man can be executed when the evidence against him has mostly been recanted," said Sharpton. "It's unthinkable."

We have to agree. This is a case where most of the witnesses have RECANTED their statements. It's even terrible to condemn a man to life in prison when innocent but to death?

We can't imagine the horror of knowing that we're innocent of the crime, convicted for it, shown hope through recanted testimony only for all of it to be ignored and then facing our death KNOWING that there is no mercy. This all might be well and good for the Puritans of the 1650's but this is the United States of America 2011.

This is sad and made all the worse knowing that although the "people in charge" know better they will forge ahead regardless of the reasonable doubt that has now arisen.

John Walsh to Be Honored at Emmy Awards

America's Most Wanted host, John Walsh, is to receive a special Emmy Award in September.

Here's the entire news article from Reuters:

"(Reuters) - "America's Most Wanted" host John Walsh, whose TV crime show has helped police capture 1,500 fugitives and find 50 missing children since 1988, is being given an honorary award from organizers of the Emmys.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences on Tuesday said it will give its Governors Award to Walsh for making an impact on society through the use of TV.

"John Walsh has dedicated his life to the betterment of society, and while doing so has used television in an inventive and extraordinary way," academy chief executive John Shaffner said in a statement. "His contribution to society goes far beyond just hosting a hit TV show, but sets a prime example of how television can be used to convey an important message."

Walsh became known around the world as a crime fighter and victims' advocate after his 6 year-old son Adam was abducted from a mall near his home in Hollywood, Fla., on July 27, 1981 and found murdered two weeks later.

The case remained unsolved for 27 years until 2008 when police linked the slaying to a serial killer who died in prison and who claimed responsibility for hundreds of murders.

Walsh's personal tragedy is credited with sparking the creation of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in 1984 after President Ronald Reagan signed the "Missing Children's Assistance Act."

His work on America's Most Wanted, which tells viewers of crimes and alleged perpetrators who are still at large, helped spark child protection laws, including "The Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act" that tracks convicted sex offenders who disappear after they're released from prison.

He is one of three Honorary U.S. Marshals and was named "Man of the Year" by both the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI. Walsh will receive the Governors Award during the Creative Emmy awards in Los Angeles on September 10.

(Reporting by Jason Kandel, Editing by Bob Tourtellotte)"

His show captured 1500 wanted criminals and found 50 missing children!

This guy, John Walsh, should be given much more than an Emmy. He is our HERO. There are great Americans and then there are the TRULY GREAT Americans. John Walsh is one of the latter.

He suffered a terrible tragedy when his son Adam was abducted (and God knows what else) before being hacked up into little pieces like that poor kid from Brooklyn a few weeks ago, Lieby Kletzky.

John wanted everyone to remember Adam as he fought hard to pass laws that could protect children from predators but in all honesty, it's John that we will all remember.

Adam would be so proud of his dad, like we all are. You know the expression "you fucked with the wrong guy?" Well, the scum that killed Adam fucked with the wrong kid because his dad didn't fall apart at the seams. He instead found his inner Superhero, donned an invisible cape masked as a leather jacket and went ape shit against pedophiles.

Many parents of murdered children have done great things to remember their children through tougher legislation on child predators. We admire them all.

John Walsh, however, we admire the most.

Jon Benet's 21st Birthday

Murdered beauty queen Jon Benet Ramsey would have turned 21 today.

She was killed, 15 years ago, in her family's Boulder, CO, home and to this day the killer remains at large, unknown and unprosecuted.

Her mother died of cancer in 2006 and just 2 weeks ago her father remarried and is still trying to rebuild his shattered life. Jon Ramsey not only lost Jon Benet at 6 years of age, but he lost his first wife to cancer and his 22 year old daughter in a car accident in 1992. And to top it off, the media portrayed him and his late wife, Patsy as a couple of psychos that killed their own daughter.

It took years and years plus a public apology from the Boulder Sheriff's department to stop all of that.

DNA from the scene is conclusive that NO ONE IN THE IMMEDIATE FAMILY was the killer.

Jon Benet's murder remains an open cold case.

Happy Birthday Jesse Ventura

Jesse is one bad ass motherfucker

It's a good thing I'm not president because I would prosecute every person that was involved in that torture. I would prosecute the people that did it. I would prosecute the people that ordered it. Because torture is against the law. ... Waterboarding is drowning. It gives you the complete sensation that you are drowning. It is no good, because you — I'll put it to you this way, you give me a water board, Dick Cheney and one hour, and I'll have him confess to the Sharon Tate murders. ... If it's done wrong, you certainly could drown. You could swallow your tongue. It could do a whole bunch of stuff to you. If it's done wrong or — it's torture...It's torture."
Jesse Ventura - pro wrestler/UDT Navy diver/ex-Governor of Minnesota

Jesse Ventura, American legend, turns 60 today.

Jesse has been famous for being a wrestler back in the day - nickname "The Body" - or, from being in 2 or 3 Arnold Schwarzenegger movies in the 80's - the great ones Predator and Running Man - or, from being the Governor of Minnesota - or from his latest TV show, "Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura".

Jesse was also a frogman for the Navy's Underwater Demolition Team, a biker riding with the Mongols, a bodyguard for the Rolling Stones back in the 70's and the mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota for 4 years.

He also has hosted a radio show, a TV show on MSNBC, acted on a soap opera and authored several books.

For all the good times and bad, that he had with the wrestling world, fame and lawsuits, Jesse was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004.

That's probably not even the half of it.

Jesse catches shit from a lot of people over his politics, demeanor, conspiracy theories and so forth, but not from us. He's our hero. Of course he has flaws and is subject to arrogance and entitlement, but he EARNED it. He's a bad ass motherfucker.

And when we think of America, we like to think of guys like Jesse Ventura, out there doing real things and keeping people honest. Next to John Walsh, he's one of our favorite good guys. Plus, he wants to waterboard, Dick Cheney. How awesome is that?

Caylee's Law

A grass-roots movement called "Caylee's Law" has taken hold much like Megan's Law, Jessica Lunsford Act and the Amber Alert. All named for the senseless killings of little girls and all "plugging loopholes" in the legal system.

Caylee Anthony's mom was acquitted of murdering little Caylee this week to the outrage of practically everyone. There wasn't enough evidence for the jury to rule in good conscience for felony murder.

Caylee's law hopes to amend what was considered one of the most egregious acts of this entire affair - the fact that her mother never reported her missing and that the grandmother called police 31 days after Caylee went missing.

Caylee's law would make it a felony for a parent or caregiver not to report a child missing within 24 hours and also within one hour of death.

If this law had been in place this week, then Casey Anthony would have been charged with a felony for not reporting Caylee missing.

The petition site Change.org set up a page created by an outraged citizen named Michelle Crowder of Oklahoma, which has had a record number of visitors. So many that the founder of the site called Michelle to thank her personally. It is the single most visited petition page in the world right now getting a reported 5,000 signatures an hour. And in 2 days has recorded over 300,000 signatures.

Lawmakers are listening. Four states are RIGHT NOW drafting similar laws to make it a FELONY CRIME not to report a child missing or dead. Florida, Oklahoma, New York and West Virginia.

Let's get the Delaware Valley involved and the rest of the country too. There was a time when people didn't need to be told to do what was right, but obviously those days are long gone so we need to legislate people to do the right thing.

Go to: Change.org Petition for Caylee's Law and sign for Caylee.

"State Rep. Bill Hager, R-Boca Raton, announced Wednesday afternoon that he's currently drafting legislation consistent with the Internet movement. Hager is on the Justice Committee.

"Placing a law on the books requiring parents and guardians to report missing children who are in significant danger in a timely manner will ensure that parents are held accountable for their actions," he said in a statement. "It will also assure that we put justice on the side of those among us who are most vulnerable. And finally, it will put an end to the kind of irresponsible and outrageous behavior we observed with Caylee's mother."

Megan's Law is an informal name for laws in the United States requiring law enforcement authorities to make information available to the public regarding registered sex offenders. Megan Kanka of NJ was murdered by the sex offender that lived across the street from her house.

Jessica's Law is the informal name given to a 2005 Florida law, as well as laws in several other states, designed to punish sex offenders and reduce their ability to re-offend. Jessica Lundsford of FL was murdered by a repeat sexual predator that lived near her house.

An AMBER Alert is a child abduction alert bulletin. Amber Hagerman of TX was abducted, raped and murdered while out riding her bike close to her house.

The Other Dead bin Laden

We have more than one dead bin Laden to celebrate. Navy Seals also killed Osama's son Hamza, notoriously linked to the murder of beloved Benazir Bhutto in 2008.

He was another son-of-a-bitch bin Laden set on taking over his father's "empire" and becoming the voice and leader of Al Qaeda. He was only 18 years old on Sunday, meaning he killed Benazir when he was only 15 or 16. 'Ole Osama couldn't have been prouder of this runt especially since at least one of his other sons (the cute one, 4th born Omar) has been officially diagnosed with schizophrenia after reporting to authorities that he heard his father's voice in his head.

Considering Osama has at least 12 other sons, Hamza's death is just a drop in the bin Laden bucket. Mohammed bin Laden is still running around and is the forerunner now that Hamza is dead.

"The Bin Laden Group, a construction company in Saudi Arabia was founded in 1931 by Osama's father Sheik Mohammad bin Laden. Upon his death, in 1972 Sheikh Salem bin Laden took over along with several brothers. Upon Salem's death in a plane crash in 1988, the leadership of the group passed to one of his elder sons, Bakr, the current chairman, along with thirteen other brothers who make up the board of the bin Laden group.

By 2002, the company had 35,000 employees worldwide, and was worth US$5 billion."

You know, it really says something when you are willing to leave the family's billion dollar empire, cushy office job, cars, clothes, women, THE LIFE, to go live in squalor in a cave and wage war.

IT SAYS YOU ARE A FUCKING MENTAL PATIENT. Osama was an idiot on way more than one level.

This whole family has crazy names but we gotta admit we like the name Salem. It's way better than Hamza, Osama, Bakr, Hassan or Yeslam.

So today, when you are feeling happy about Osama's death, remember we got his evil kid, Hamza, too. The one who had a part in killing Benazir Bhutto.

Good riddance.

The Middle East Uprising, The Price of Gas and How We are Being Screwed

The Middle East Uprising and the Price of Gas
HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER.

The Suez canal is open, the oil fields are still "producing" and NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

OPEC sets the price of oil per barrel. OPEC is a group of 12 men sitting around a table, arbitrarily raising oil prices AT WHIM.

Oh sure, it's easy to link the two. That's what "they" want you to believe.
But the fact is: The Suez canal was NEVER CLOSED FOR EVEN A MINUTE due to the Egyptian revolts, Libyan oil is still being shipped as it was 3 weeks ago regardless of Gaddafi and Saudi Arabia NEVER EVEN HAD AN UPRISING.

WE ARE BEING ROBBED, RIPPED OFF AND SCAMMED.

What is OPEC?
It stands for "Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries"

What do you mean twelve men?
OPEC is comprised of twelve countries:
Algeria, Angola, Ecuador, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait
Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela
The United Arab Emirates

Read those names again!

How many of those countries are involved in the Middle East revolts?
2 or 3?

Have any of them have stopped producing or have limited oil shipments?
NONE OF THEM. NOT ONE.

The only thing driving up oil and subsequently gas prices is OPEC's bottomless pit of GREED and plain old fear mongering.

"OPEC's influence on the market has been widely criticized, since it became effective in determining production and prices."
This has been known for years!

Can you hear Dick Cheney and Halliburton laughing? Halliburton is the world's leading "oil field services company". Every time oil prices go up, they make money, too.

All of this madness must stop.

America's Most Wanted

We watched America's Most Wanted Saturday night for the first time in over 10 years. Although we never usually watch it, a part of us is happy that the show is still on and continues to catch criminals.

This weeks show was dedicated to catching a few serial killers and although the stories were compelling, The Zodiac Killer, The I-65 Killer, The Grim Sleeper Killer etc., it's sad that these psychos on still on the loose. The Zodiac has been wanted for over 40 years and is still active case. One of the longest in law enforcement history.

The show itself has been on the air continuously for TWENTY THREE YEARS! The total number of thugs caught worldwide is 1,143!

A thousand or so guys may not seem like much but it's over eleven hundred murders, rapists and thugs that are not in your neighborhood or mine anymore. KUDOS to John Walsh.

We couldn't love John Walsh any more than we do. This guy is a true hero. All that is missing is the mask and cape because he is a Superhero.

When his son Adam was beheaded in 1981, he lost his son and in the worst way a parent can lose a child - to the hands of a serial murderer. But to sum it up, that guy really fucked with the wrong guy. Because of that one guys actions, we gained a supreme force of good in the world. John Walsh has spent the last 30 years fighting for YOUR child to make sure it doesn't happen to you or anyone's kid.

He almost single handedly formed and founded The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. God Bless John Walsh. We're sorry for Adam Walsh but its amazing that so good could have come from something so bad.

John Walsh is a suburb example of what a person can accomplish when they set their mind to something. He is "using his powers for good". He is an exemplary American and human being.

Everytime Fox threatens to cancel AMW, law enforcement petitions to keep the show on. They say it is an invaluable resource to catching criminals.

Tune in next Saturday night for America's Most Wanted "50 in 50" where they will profile 50 killers in all 50 states.
