Cave of Forgotten Dreams

Cave lions painted over 30,000 years ago.
They are the OLDEST discovered art works of man. THE. Very. Oldest.
And they look NEW.

Director Werner Herzog has filmed a masterpiece. The documentary movie, Cave of Forgotten Dreams, featuring Chauvet Cave, released last year and recently out on DVD, is breathtakingly good. GOOD. GOOD. GOOD.

In a word it is: captivating, enchanting, bewitching, enthralling, entertaining, awesome, astonishing, magnificent, moving, brilliant, mesmerizing, mind-blowing and outstanding. And More.

Of the 12 DIFFERENT Critics Choice Awards it was nominated for, this movie has already won 9, is nominated for the 2 others with yet another award pending from the twelfth. And guess what? IT REALLY IS THAT DAMN GOOD.

Now, we have it admit, it's not the movie that's good it is the subject. What makes the movie so ridiculously wonderful is that through Herzog, we get to be inside the cave. The viewer is transported into a cave where 40,000 years ago people went and painted the most beautiful pictures you've ever seen of ice age animals that you've never seen! It's a journey that is so well worth taking we are still stunned, as if we'd been there.

The tableau of cave art is the main attraction of this awesome cave, but what is even more unbelievably overwhelming are the cave bear remnants, the very fossils of cave bear skulls and scratches on the walls that look as new today as they have for over 40-50 millenia! Then there are the fossilized footprints of an 8-year old boy followed by a wolf! As Herzog points out, "was the wolf stalking the boy? Were they friends? Or were the imprints, captured in time, formed thousands of years apart?"

Not to mention the actual cave itself. Sealed by a landslide eons ago, it's main entrance forgotten to time, the cave is resplendent with stalagmites, stalactite's and calcite deposits creating works of beauty all themselves. It's a beautiful and haunting world. More than one researcher has commented that you can actually feel as if the artists were still there watching you.

To call it a treasure trove is a vast understatement. It is acknowledged by virtually everyone that Chauvet Cave is the most magnificent and important discovery in all of the history of human culture.

What Herzog has done is allowed us to explore the cave and it is unprecedented. Access is restricted to archaeologists, geologists, anthropologists and then only for a few weeks a year, a few hours a day, etc. No one just goes in. There are regulations galore. You must wear protected foot gear and walk on a suspended walkway only 2 feet wide and above all else, you must never touch anything!

For this alone, this first class ticket of admittance to the Chauvet Cave is priceless.

Ancient North American Carving Discovered

Archaeologists are excited to announce the discovery of a 13,000 year old carving of a mastodon. The carving, found on a bone fragment, is the oldest known art work in the Americas.

"The bone fragment, discovered in Vero Beach, Fla., contains an incised image about 3 inches long from head to tail and about 1 3/4 inches from head to foot."

The carving is very similar to cave drawings found in Europe.

Dogma and backward thinking keeps the archaeologists from declaring that there was Pre-Columbian European contact. However, EVERYONE should know by know that ancient people from different cultures travelled all over the world. Why this is still "Dogma" is beyond belief. Do we still believe the Earth is flat, too?

We personally think these ideas persist because people do not want to accept the truth that Man did not go from "cavemen to striped toothpaste." Civilizations and technology are cyclical. They come and go. Maybe it's threatening to know that people 5,000 years ago had electricity and roamed the Earth, mapping everything and building monuments we couldn't possibly replicate today. We want to think that we are the end all be all of civilization and that those who came before us we're...just cavemen.

To suggest otherwise is "controversial" and invites "skepticism and criticism".

How sad.

The Omni Report however, thrives on controversial and relishes skepticism and criticism.

The Gay Caveman

Archeologists have unearthed a 5,000 year old burial site in Prague and it's contents surprised everyone. It's a male skeleton buried in a ritualisticly female way.

"The skeleton was found with its head pointing eastwards and surrounded by domestic jugs - rituals only previously seen in female graves.

Lead archaeologist Kamila Remisova said: 'From history and ethnology, we know that people from this period took funeral rites very seriously so it is highly unlikely that this positioning was a mistake.

'Far more likely is that he was a man with a different sexual orientation, homosexual or transsexual.'

According to Corded Ware culture, which began in the late Stone Age and culminated in the Bronze Age, men were traditionally buried lying on their right side with their heads pointing towards the west. Women were laid on their left sides with their heads pointing towards the east.
"

The skeleton shows no signs of disrespect or violence and is of a decent age so maybe people 5,000 years ago were far more tolerant than people of today. It's not surprising to find a gay man, but it is nice to see that he was treated normally and allowed to be buried in a manner that they thought was fitting for him.

Part 3 Great Pyramid Controversy: How Gatenbrink Got Shafted

The Omni Report presents our 3-part series on:

The Controversy and Mystery of the Great Pyramid of the Giza Plateau, Cairo, Egypt; Specifically Why Dr. Zahi Hawass Sucks and How Rudolph Gatenbrink Got Shafted.

The Great Pyramid Controversy
Part 3: How Gatenbrink Got Shafted

In 1872 an important discovery was made in The Great Pyramid. An engineer named Waynman Dixon decided to look for air shafts in the Queen’s chamber. Having seen the shafts already visible in the wall in the King’s Chamber, he though this chamber may have them as well. He scouted the walls and saw a crack in the southern wall. Using a hammer and chisel he broke through the wall and viola! An air shaft. He then discovered the shaft in the northern wall of this chamber as well.

Directly inside the northern shaft were objects!

1) A rough stone sphere

2) A small two pronged hook made out of some kind of metal

3) A 12 centimeter long piece of cedar wood with notches cut into it

These pieces remained in the Dixon family until the 1970’s when they were donated to the British Museum. The artifacts were lost again and then found, except for the piece of wood. The only object that could be C-14 carbon dated! Conspiracy theorists are still crazy over this.

Today we take this discovery for granted, but it was until 1872 an unknown feature of the pyramid. What other secrets does this great monolith still keep?

These shafts only 8 or 9 or so inches square were unexplored until March 1993 when another engineer named Rudolf Gatenbrink came upon the scene. (We remember this like it was yesterday. It’s hard to believe it’s been 18 years!)

Gatenbrink and his crew were hired by Government Officials…Not, repeat NOT The Great Dr. Zahi Hawass…to install fans and modern ventilation in the pyramid. It’s stiflingly hot within the pyramid and the throngs of tourists were only adding to the problem. The government didn’t want passed out tourists inside the pyramid. Also, it was to help preserve the pyramid by removing the humidity.

At this time, Dr. Hawass had been suspended from Chief Inspector of the Giza Pyramid Plateau for stealing a vase! STEALING! He of course has repented to the right people...Hosni Mubarak…, threw unnamed people under the bus, and risen in the ranks, higher and higher until no one but He has any authority over any antiquities in Egypt.

UPUAT, The Little Robot That Could

Gatenbrink designed a caterpillar shaped robot named UPUAT 2* – (ooh-pu-watt) Egyptian for “opener of the ways”. This little robot that could slowly climbed the interior of the southern shaft of the Queen’s Chamber. Like its processors “Father of UPUAT” and “UPUAT 1” it encountered some difficulty, including a 6 inch step. Once over this step described by Gatenbrink as daunting as “the Great Wall of China” the walls of the shaft began to look smoother, more refined workmanship.

Then on March 22 at exactly 11:02 AM, the “Mother” of all Great Pyramid discoveries happened. UPUAT sent back images from its video camera of a stone slab. A “door”, complete with two copper handles!

Nothing like this had ever been discovered in modern times. An unknown door in the Great Pyramid. Hidden for over 4,500 years in an “air shaft.” It was unbelievable and exhilarating and mega-celebration worthy! It made history.

It is to this day the most remarkable discovery in Egyptology. And probably the most controversial.

In front of the door were artifacts!

1) a metallic hook
2) A long piece of wood

What happened next is a travesty. Instead of celebrating Gatenbrink’s work, the Pharaoh discredited him, booted him out of Egypt and made Gatenbrink persona non grata until…THIS DAY! Rudolph is STILL NOT ALLOWED BACK IN TO SEE HIS DOOR or complete his work there! A door unceremoniously named after him by the Good People of the World who acknowledge this GREAT contribution to knowledge of Egyptology.

Gatenbrink lost his affiliation with the German Archeological Institute which had the ventilation contract for breaching the contract by doing “unauthorized” exploration of the pyramid and TALKING TO THE PRES ABOUT IT. Because of this loss of affiliation, Dr. Hawass will not acknowledge him, as only well-qualified affiliated persons are allowed to do “work” in the pyramid.

Dr. Hawass made a big deal about drilling a hole through the door in an LIVE on air TV show in 2002. He, of course, is taking all the credit for Rudolph’s work. He alone stands guard over the pyramid and authorizes who gets in to do work there. He will never again let his Egyptologists be usurped by western interlopers. It is he who has a giant bug up his ass about it. It is Zahi and Zahi alone who will determine when and if the world will ever get to see what is behind the “door.”

And we all know how this is turning out. Have YOU heard anything about it? We didn’t think so. For as much as Dr. Hawass proclaims that the monuments of Giza belong to the whole world, they are his and his alone. That is why he is The Pharaoh. He keeps his secrets closed to the world. He is so full of shit we want to throw things at him. That is why we are disgusted by him.

What was the conclusion of the TV special in September of 2002? What was behind the door? Another door! But the camera only showed a small pile of rubble and was unable to go much further than that.

The area remains unexplored to this day. ALMOST TEN YEARS LATER!

To quote the great Dr. Hawass, “We are not discovering anything inside the Great Pyramid, there is really nothing remaining to be discovered inside.”

REALLY, ZAHI? REALLY?

What a bunch of bullshit. It seems everyone including ourselves have been waiting almost 20 years to find out what’s in the Great Pyramid.

In that time, Dr. Hawass has taken over complete control of the building. Immediately following Gatenbrink’s discovery, Dr. Hawass was reinstated to his post and the Pyramid was closed for a long period of time, to undergo “renovations”. Specifically the Queen’s chamber! Also, a security perimeter fence was erected around the entirety of the Giza Plateau to keep out “terrorists.”

No scientific groups have been allowed in. No archeological work is going on without Dr. Hawass breathing down their neck and specifically no work on discovering anything to do with the remaining shafts.

Now, the astonishing news that Dr. Hawass has quit his job as of March 2011...And took it back in April 2011. With Egypt in a state of flux, there is to be no more exploration of anything. Artifacts are missing, everything is in disarray. It will take years for Dr. Hawass and the archeologists to get back on track.

How much longer do we have to wait to see what's behind the door? When will Rudolph Gatenbrink be vindicated?

Part 2 - The Great Pyramid Controversy: The Big Deal

The Great Pyramid Controversy Part 2: The Big Deal

"The Machine" Even though the driver is no longer at the wheel, the Giza Necropolis is still a machine that was designed to provoke questions. 5,000 years and look at its power. It involves you whether you like it or not. It forces you in to a process of thinking…forces you to learn. The minute you ask a question about it, you’ve asked a question about engineering, a question about geometry, a question about astronomy. So it forces you to learn engineering, geometry and astronomy, and gradually you realize how sophisticated it is, how incredibly clever and skillful and knowledgeable its builders must have been, which forces you to ask questions about mankind, about human history eventually about yourself, too. They succeeded in creating a force that is functional in itself, provided you understand it, and that force is the questions it challenges you to ask. This is the power of the Giza Plateau. Built at least 10,450 B.C. A message for us, the future. *1

~Robert Bauval
Robert Bauval is the mastermind engineer behind the “Orion Correlation Theory” which states that the 3 Giza pyramids are a representation of the 3 stars comprising the belt of the constellation Orion.

The Great Pyramid at Giza. It’s just a pile of rocks. What’s the big deal? Okay, maybe you are willing to concede it’s A LOT of rocks - but still, so? What makes The Great Pyramid the greatest engineering marvel and virtual miracle on the planet? Let's consider both the The Outer Pyramid and The Inner Pyramid. Here are a few mind-boggling engineering specifications in the construction of the “outer” Pyramid:

  • It is the world’s largest pyramid with a 13-acre footprint

  • It weighs 6 million tons and is 480 feet tall

  • There are 202 steps to the summit

  • Each face (side) of the pyramid is 5 and a half acres

  • It contains over 2 and a half million granite and limestone blocks

  • Each weighs an average 2 tons

  • It is aligned perfectly to the cardinal directions

  • It incorporates the geometry of PI - specifically 2PI

  • It is a scale of an exact mathematical replica for the dimensions of the planet Earth

  • It’s polished out limestone casing was comprised of slabs 8-feet thick, covered 22 acres and their combined weight together was over 16 tons

  • These limestone slabs were fitted together so perfectly that not a razor blade could separate them and it was said they looked like a single slab

  • The three pyramids of Giza form a Pythagorean triangle with side propportions of 3:4:5

  • The Great Pyramid is located exactly in the center of Earth’s landmass. THE EXACT CENTER

Here are a few mind-boggling engineering specifications in the construction of the “inner” Pyramid:

  • It contains a complex system of inner passages, tunnels, galleries and chambers

  • The concrete cement that was used to bind the stones is technologically beyond what we use today and defies modern analysis

  • It is the only pyramid in Egypt with both descending and ascending passages

  • Each one of the 100 red granite blocks comprising The King’s Chamber weigh 70 tons. EACH. ONE. OF. THE. ONE. HUNDRED. RED. GRANITE. BLOCKS. WEIGH. SEVENTY. TONS. Think about it.

  • You can see the perfect red granite blocks here

  • There is clear evidence of machining *2

  • The joints between blocks are so tight you cannot insert a razor blade. We do not even attempt anything like this in construction today

  • The King’s Chamber incorporates the mathematical law The Golden Ratio (phi)

  • There is 8.5 million cubic square feet of space in the inner space of the pyramid. This is enough for over 3,000 rooms the size of the King’s Chamber or 30 full-size Empire State Buildings

  • The incorporation of the so-called “air-shafts” or "soul-shafts". There are 4 known shafts, 8x8 inches square that rise through the pyramid and through solid blocks that were carefully fit into place to align them. The King's Chamber shafts lead the constellations Orion and Sirius.

    • The Queen's Chamber shafts lead to the archaeological Roswell known as "The Gatenbrink Affair"

The "air shafts" in The Great Pyramid. 2 emanate from The King's Chamber (above) and 2 from The Queen's Chamber.

The above statistics are great, but what does it all mean?

What is mind-blowing or special about using 70 ton (King's Chamber)or 200 ton (Pyramid "body") blocks?

Well, today moving anything that weighs over 50 tons requires a specialized crane. Modern industrial "counter boom” cranes max out at 200 tons. Moving anything over 200 tons does not happen. Anything over 50 barely happens. And that is in today's modern society with all of our engineering "know how".

How does The Great Pyramid incorporate the mathematical law of 2PI?

The height of the pyramid bears the same relationship to it’s base perimeter as does the circumference of a circle to it’s radius.

How is The Great Pyramid a scale model of the Earth?

The scale of our planet is 1:43,200. If you take the height of the pyramid and multiply by 43,200 you get the polar radius measurement of Earth (+/- 11 miles). If you take the perimeter of the base and multiply by 43,200 you get the equatorial circumference of the Earth (+/- 170 miles).

Why are the North-South-East-West cardinal alignments such a big deal?

The exact precision of the cardinal points is as of “atomic clock” accuracy. This isn't achieved lightly or easily, nor is it anything we would even try to do today. In modern 2011 terms, to align something True North, you'd need "a laser theodolite, an ordinance survey map accurate to 10 meters, and a highly qualified team of professionals that includes a setting-out engineer, an astronomer, a surveyor, several master masons and a week or so to make sure the position you are aiming for has been achieved*"

Indeed The Great Pyramid is accurate to within a little over 3 arc minutes to True North.

It. Is. The. Most. Accurately. Aligned. Building. On. Earth.

And this was achieved at a minimum of over 4,500 years ago, and probably more likely around 10,000 B.C. Modern engineers when describing The Great Pyramid reiterate that “…the sheer size and mass (of TGP) are not it’s most impressive characteristics. More astounding by far is the incredible hi-tech precision built into every aspect of it’s design." Yes, the Pyramid has hi-tech precision written all over it and into it. It oozes out of every stone block.

Also, the base is a perfect square. The pyramid is “locked onto” the cardinal points and is located on top of a natural mound that is 2 stories high. It is this mound that lends to the Pyramid it's superior stability.

The inner workings - the interior chambers and corridors - of The Great Pyramid are an engineering feat of unparalleled difficulty and are the height and epitome of architectural achievement.

The stone cutting techniques used to create these galleries and rooms are unknown to us. They are constructed on a gargantuan scale and are much more advanced than anything we could construct today.

The Grand Gallery is described as:
"The most incredible construction achievement in human history.
      *3

The Grand Gallery consists of polished limestone walls - monoliths of stone - that make up the lower portion of the wall that are made up of polished granite topped with granite beams with scarcely a joint to be seen. It's seamless construction. The Gallery ends in a tunnel that leads to The King's Chamber. The King's Chamber, so-called, because of the humongous black granite "sarcophagus" located there, is really too big to be called a chamber. It is made from polished smooth red granite hewn from quarries in far-away Aswan. The sarcopohagus is too big too have been hauled in. The room was clearly built around this granite monolith, that is not a sarcophagus and shows clearly that it had to have been machined. It's joints are a perfect 90 degree angle. The air shafts from the room reach outside and can provide minimal ventilation.

The "relieving chambers" are a series of five slabs over top of The King's Chamber. Their combined weight is 400 tons and the top slab is has a bevelled pointed roof. They do not relive much weight in the pyramid, engineering wise, so their very name is a misnomer. What are they really for?

The Queen's Chamber has a beveled wall that defies explanation. It is a beautiful niche. What was it used for? What was anything in this place used for? Not a tomb by any means!

The Niche of the Queen's Chamber

The Underground Chamber is a creepy cave that doesn't incorporate the polished limestone or granite walls that The Pyramid is made of. It's referred to by Egyptologists as an "unfinished burial vault". What they never mention is how fucking far underground this thing is. You have to take a descending passage far below The Pyramid to reach it.

      Look at this picture:

You have to keep in mind that when we see the The Great Pyramid today, it is the same as looking at this rusted out car. We know what this car used to look like when it was shiny and new. Well, The Great Pyramid is weathered, dilapidated, stripped of all it’s glory and absolutely not the way it looked in antiquity. We have to imagine it shiny and new.

The Great Pyramid is not just a pile of rocks. Far from it. It is an archaeological, architectural and engineering mystery of epic proportions.

It cannot be overstated how advanced it is. It is a complicated structure of massive heavy granite and limestone made to stand for eternity. It has rooms and passages made from differing sizes rock that are engineeringly impossible to replicate today.

Part 1 - The Great Pyramid Controversy: History of The Great Pyramid

The Omni Report presents our 3-part series on:

The Controversy and Mystery of the Great Pyramid of the Giza Plateau, Cairo, Egypt; Specifically Why Dr. Zahi Hawass Sucks and How Rudolph Gatenbrink Got Shafted.

      The Great Pyramid Controversy
      Part 1: A History Lesson

“Man Fears Time, Time Fears Only The Pyramids”
      Herodotus

The Great Pyramid of Giza was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. It is the only remaining monument of the classical 7 Wonders of the Ancient World and it is pure awesome.

The only problem with the history of the Great Pyramid is the fact that we don’t know the history of the Great Pyramid! The only hieroglyphs associated with The Great Pyramid have been proven forgeries. The only other – the only other! – “evidence” is a stone carving with Khufu’s cartouche in front of the Sphinx. This cartouche is still unclear however. We do not know if it means that Khufu built or rebuilt either the Sphinx or Great Pyramid.

We’ll try to start at the beginning.

Contemporary Egyptologists including, and especially the fervent, Supreme High Commander and Pharaoh, The Big Z – Dr. Zahi Hawass, believe the Great Pyramid was constructed within a 20-year period with slave labor for a Pharaoh to be entombed in. Basically, a Pharaoh vanity project – and simply understated construction technique. 20 years of slave labor forces with Stone Age tools and no wheel. That is all.

The modern discovery of the Pyramids, as far as when it was first written about in history books, begins with Herodotus, The Great Father of History and one of the most famous of ancient Greeks. He wrote about the Great Pyramid in 440 B.C. and reported how ancient it was even in his own time!

Today we call this monument of the desert a pyramid, Greek for pyramis/pyramidos “Fire in the middle”. This is the first most overlooked, most underrated clue as to what The Great Pyramid really was.

A geographer in 24BC reported a hinged moveable door that could be raised up as an entrance on the north side. This location was lost in the first century AD and no door of this type has yet to be reported by The Big Z and his thugs.

Arabian adventurer Abdullah Al Mamun blew a hole in the Great Pyramid in 813 AD and gained the first modern entrance into the Great Pyramid in untold thousands of years. He used dynamite because he was pretty ignorant. This entrance is now called “The Robbers Tunnel” and it is the primary entrance used for tourists to this day.

      The Robbers Tunnel/Main Entrance today

It was in the 14th century that Arabs stripped the casing stones off the pyramid and used them to rebuild earthquake stricken Cairo. These casing stones were pure limestone and gleamed so brightly even at night that The Great Pyramid, for thousands of years, glowed throughout the darkest of desert nights and lit up the day like the Las Vegas strip.

Rendering of The Great Pyramid in its full glory

In 1637 British citizen and Oxford University Astronomer, John Greaves, visited and began documentation of The Great Pyramid. He was followed by Nathaniel Davidson in 1763. Davidson has a chamber named after him and is also credited with the “Cardinal Point” compass discovery. More on this in Part 2 of this series.

Then came Napoleon. And what he discovered changed the world forever.

Napoleon conquered Egypt with 35,000 men in over 300 ships in 1799. Hardly anyone knows or even cares what they did except for one thing, the day one of the 175 archeologists, scientists and geologists that Napoleon brought with him, discovered the most interesting, awesome and useful artifact ever – The Rosetta Stone.

This rock engraving contained the same text in three languages: Greek, Egyptian and Hieroglyphic. It opened the door and unleashed the whole of the Ancient Egyptian Empire whose undeciphered works had lain silent for millennia. Suddenly (actually after laborious decipherment) the grandeur and epic culture of Egypt was alive. Here, now, you could go from monument to monument and read and understand the stories!

      The Rosetta Stone

No longer had The Roman or Greek civilizations been the first and second great waves of humanity. Unlocking the hieroglyphs changed our concept of history (and now, we know of Sumer as the actual cradle of civilization). The Rosetta Stone cured our historical and cultural amnesia.

Colonel Howard Vyse came in 1837. Unsatisfied with his genuine archeological discoveries he went on to perpetrate one of the saddest, ridiculous and upsetting acts of vandalism ever committed anywhere…he defaced the inside of The Great Pyramid with Khufu's cartouche. He painted it in red paint - was caught "red handed" with the pots! He deliberatley painted the name of Khufu in the pyramid in a heiroglypic cartouche.

Unfortunately mainstream Egyptologists refuse to accept it was a forgery and hence we have The Great Pyramid aka The Tomb of the Pharaoh Khufu. Although no bodies were ever – ever- found in a pyramid in Egypt. There is only one worldwide exception - Lord Pacal’s tomb in Palenque. That's it. NO BODIES ARE EVER FOUND IN PYRAMIDS.

In the late 1800’s several astronomers came and wrote books about The Great Pyramid. The word “pyramidology” was coined in 1878.

It wasn’t until 1925 that the base of The Great Pyramid was cleared of all rubble, sand and debris. It was then that accurate measurements could be taken.

Books about the Great Pyramid have not stopped being written or printed. Easily over a dozen books a year are published regarding this greatest structure on Earth.

In the 20th century, Egypt itself began to take charge of it’s archeology creating several museums. The modern Egyptian tourist movement took off!

Today one man alone is in absolute total control of every single monument in Egypt including the most amazing archeological monolith on Earth and the most famous thing on the planet. This man is Zahi Hawass.

Saty tuned for Parts 2 and 3! Part 2 coming next Monday!

      Possible Location For Atlantis

As you all know, Atlantis is the lost city of antiquity, that may or may not be a myth.

The Greek philosopher Plato mentioned Atlantis in his works Timaeus and Critias, written in 360BC. Said to have been a "naval power", Atlantis was sunk in its entirety by a natural calamity in one single night over 9 or 10 thousand years ago.

Since Plato's time Atlantis has been largely ignored as a myth although many people, including ancient and modern scholars have thought it was real. It has been searched for for over a thousand years.

Many locations on Earth have been considered to be the actual site, including the island destroyed by volcano, Thera near Greece.

Edgar Cayce, the most accurate psychic prophet to ever live, mentioned Atlantis over 700 times (out of 14,000 readings) and said it was real and was located in the Atlantic Ocean. He also said that remnants of it would surface in 1968 or 1969.

The Bimini Road was discovered in 1968. The Bimini Road consists of rows of stone blocks off the coast of the Bahamas. The longest row is about 1600 feet long. There is an ongoing dispute over whether or not they are a natural phenomena or man made. Having seen pictures of them, they stand out like a sore thumb, very unlike any other rock formations in the area.

Curiously, Cayce added that it was 3 calamities that struck Atlantis. Residents started evacuating after the first incident and continued to flee as the third disaster completely destroyed the island and sunk it like a stone into the ocean.

"On Sunday, the National Geographic Channel aired a documentary called Finding Atlantis.

It chronicles the work of a team led by University of Hartford archaeologist Richard Freund, who believes he has found the mythical advanced society of antiquity in the muddy sediment of a Spanish marsh.

The lost city of Atlantis, according to the writing of Plato, was located on an island just past the Pillars of Hercules, known today as the Strait of Gibraltar, and was wiped out when an earthquake triggered a powerful wall of water that submerged it forever.

“It just so happens that just past the Straits of Gibraltar, there is a 250-square-kilometre marsh that was inundated by a tsunami in antiquity,” said Dr. Freund on Monday. “In light of what we’ve seen in Japan, you really can understand how the power of a tsunami could wipe a place off the face of the Earth.”

We agree. This still might not be the actual city of Atlantis, for it is thought to be a continent or island located in the Atlantic Ocean and not just a city, but it's still plausible.

Now that we understand the mighty destructive forces of a tsunami, it is not without reason to finally be able to realize that an entire city COULD VERY WELL disappear overnight. And, taking it further, considering that a larger tsunami could have conceivably wiped out the entire island of Japan, that a island sized nation could be sunk overnight as well.

We do not think that Atlantis is a myth. Plato may have been drawing on earlier accounts of a nation for which Atlantis stands in, but very much a REAL civilization that was wiped out by a natural disaster and disappeared virtually overnight. Its more than just plausible or conceivable it's a statistical probability.

HE RESIGNED! THE PHARAOH IS GONE!

Oh my! There is much lamentation and sorrow right now. We are beating our chests, cutting our hair, going into mourning, wearing black and crying out to God "WHY!?"

Okay not really, but the shock hasn't worn off. It's only begun!

Our beloved/despised Dr. Zahi Hawass has quit! It's TRUE...

This is directly from his blog (Check for updates and video)

      Dr. Hawass.com

      Why Dr Hawass Resigned

Q: Dr. Hawass, for many years you have been the image of modern Egyptology. Why are you leaving now?

A: “I am leaving because of a variety of important reasons. The first reason is that, during the Revolution of January 25th, the Egyptian Army protected our heritage sites and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. However, in the last 10 days the army has left these posts because it has other tasks to do. The group now in charge of the protection of these sites is the Tourist Police, but there are no Tourist Police to do this either. Therefore, what happens? Egyptian criminals, thieves (you know, in every revolution bad people always appear…), have begun to destroy tombs. They damaged the tomb of Hetep-ka at Saqqara, the tomb of Petah-Shepses at Abu Sir and the tomb of a person called Em-pi at Giza. They attacked a storage magazine at Saqqara and we do not yet know how many artifacts are missing; they opened two storage magazines at Giza; one tomb dated to the 19th Dynasty, the only one in the Delta in fact, was damaged at Ismaïlia; and a store at El-Qantara East has been broken into and looted for antiquities. People have begun to build houses and to excavate at night, everywhere, putting heritage sites all over the country at risk. I had to write a report and I sent it to the Director of UNESCO. That is why at the meeting of the Egyptian cabinet yesterday I had my speech prepared already and I said: “I cannot stay in Egypt and see antiquities being stolen when I cannot do anything to stop it!” This situation is not for me! I have always fought to return stolen artifacts to Egypt. I did fight Ahmed Ezz as well, the man in the Parliament, who was the most powerful man, because he wanted to allow antiquities to be sold in Egypt again.

The second reason is that there are two crooks in the Antiquities Department, who have accused me of stealing antiquities and doing other illegal things all of the time. Their files talk about this. A third person started saying similar things, a university professor who was the Antiquities Director for almost 6 years before me, who never accomplished anything in that time. As a corrupt man, he even gave his signed permission to a rich lady from another Arabic country to take manuscripts out of Egypt! These three people encouraged young Egyptians to protest against me personally, to shout outside my office that they needed jobs. Sadly, I cannot give a job to everyone, but I did find funds to provide nearly 2000 training positions. In response to the horrible rumors that I am stealing antiquities. How could this be?! How could a man who has given his life to protecting and promoting antiquities, be accused later of stealing them?! Because of all of these things, I believe that if I stay in my position for another six months, I will never be able to protect the antiquities I love and I will never be able to work during this mess. All my life, I have been excavating, discovering, writing books and giving lectures all over the world. My work is responsible for bringing many tourists to Egypt, which helps our economy. But now I cannot do this! Therefore, I decided to resign”.

Q: Your decision could have a very negative impact on tourism in Egypt and on the image of the post-revolutionary Egypt…

A: “I know. I agree with you, but what can I do? I cannot work during this mess. Antiquities are my life. I cannot see with this mess in front of me. I cannot work with these dishonest people trying to tell everyone else that they are honest. I was writing an article before you came about a situation similar to this that happened 4000 ago in Egypt. A nice man, his name was Ipuwer, tells us on a papyrus what he saw when he took a look at the state of the country. He describes chaos - how the poor became rich and rich became poor. The lady who had a mirror before cannot find the mirror now. She looks at her face in the water. People robbed the pyramids, they robbed everything. That is what is happening now too! It is something I cannot stop! I can work if there is discipline and honesty, but dishonest people have begun to appear and to attack the honest people. I can stand against them if antiquities are safe, but at the moment antiquities are not safe!”

Q: What are the conditions under which you would come back to lead the Ministry of Antiquities?

A: “I will come back if there is stability at the sites and if there are police, as it was before, to protect the sites, but now people come to them with guns. They stand in front of my security people, who run away, because they are not armed. In the past, the police refused to give them weapons. Therefore, everyday, in the morning, I am waiting for news. What has been robbed today? What has been stolen today? Since I cannot stop this, I cannot come back.

Q: Recently, you issued an urgent appeal to the young Egyptians of the revolution to protect the sites. What was the reason behind this?

A: “It was wonderful. This is something that really everyone should know. On Saturday, January the 29th, I went to Tahrir Square at nine in the morning. I walked among the young people there. They came to me and explained how they put themselves in front of the Egyptian Museum to protect it. When I checked inside, I saw that all the masterpieces of the Museum’s collection were still there. That is why I originally announced that the Museum was safe. Sadly, we have since discovered that 18 objects were stolen and 70 were damaged, but the final report is still in preparation and we will know the real result soon. The Director of the Museum has told me that there are more missing artifacts, but none are major pieces. Thanks God, someone found a statue of Akhenaton giving an offering near a garbage can in Tahrir Square and returned it. The Egyptian Museum is open again now. I would like people to go to it and see that it is safe. I have also been arguing with people who are now trying to tell me, “How can you ask for the bust of Nefertiti to be returned to Egypt, if your own people are stealing and damaging the monuments?”. I say that if what happened in Egypt, with the police force abandoning the streets for two nights, had happened in Rome, for example, Rome too would be robbed, completely. Their museums would have been robbed as well. Thank God, all that happened that day here was not that bad.”

Q: Frankly, Dr. Hawass, are you encouraging tourists to come back to Cairo and to the archaeological sites, or is this still not safe?

A: “Honestly, I have to tell you that if the Ministers of Tourism and of the Interior make a statement to give back the police their power, tourists could come to visit Egypt again. Until now, however, they have not done this. This means that visitors from abroad will have to wait until police officers and Antiquities Police are at every archaeological site once more.”

Q: Until that moment, it is not safe?
A: “I can say this, yes.”

WHOA! Did you get all that? Dr. Hawass is resigning as a form of protest! The antiques are being looted at gunpoint and he can no longer protect anything. Rather than take the blame for that, he is heading to the hills!

We thought he'd be stronger than that. Either he's still really pissed that Mubarak got overthrown and along with it all his perks and privileges OR he wants the new government to beg him to stay.

      Stay tuned...!

      Ozti's New Face

Ozti (pronounced Ertzi), The Ice Man, has been given a new forensic face. According to experts, this is what he really looked liked:

Ozti was discovered by hikers September 19, 1991 when a glacier melt exposed his body. The hikers thought they had come upon a missing hiker or perhaps a murder but then realized the body was far older than that.

Otzi lived 5,300 years ago and is Europe's oldest natural human mummy. To put this in perspective, Otzi lived and died 3,300 years before Christ. He is near perfect condition, except for the body parts that were damaged during exhumation.

He gives an unprecedented glimpse into Copper Age Europeans. The artifacts found with Otzi are AMAZING.

      From Wiki:

"Ötzi's clothes were sophisticated. He wore a cloak made of woven grass and a coat, a belt, a pair of leggings, a loincloth and shoes, all made of leather of different skins. He also wore a bearskin cap with a leather chin strap. The shoes were waterproof and wide, seemingly designed for walking across the snow; they were constructed using bearskin for the soles, deer hide for the top panels, and a netting made of tree bark. Soft grass went around the foot and in the shoe and functioned like modern socks. The coat, belt, leggings and loincloth were constructed of vertical strips of leather sewn together with sinew. His belt had a pouch sewn to it that contained a cache of useful items: a scraper, drill, flint flake, bone awl and a dried fungus.

The shoes have since been reproduced by a Czech academic, who said that "because the shoes are actually quite complex, I'm convinced that even 5,300 years ago, people had the equivalent of a cobbler who made shoes for other people".

Other items found with the Iceman were a copper axe with a yew handle, a flint-bladed knife with an ash handle and a quiver of 14 arrows with viburnum and dogwood shafts. Two of the arrows, which were broken, were tipped with flint and had fletching. while the other 12 were unfinished and untipped. The arrows were found in a quiver with what is presumed to be a bow string, an unidentified tool, and an antler tool which might have been used for sharpening arrow points. There was also an unfinished yew longbow that was 72 in long.

In addition, among Ötzi's possessions were berries, two birch bark baskets, and two species of polypore mushrooms with leather strings through them. One of these, the birch fungus, is known to have antibacterial properties, and was likely used for medicinal purposes. The other was a type of tinder fungus, included with part of what appeared to be a complex firestarting kit. The kit featured pieces of over a dozen different plants, in addition to flint and pyrite for creating sparks.

Ötzi's copper axe was of particular interest, as it is the only complete prehistoric axe so far discovered. 24 in. long, the axe's haft was made from yew tree bark, while the handle of the axe was made from yew branch and leather binding. The copper axe blade extended out of the leather binding and was 9.5 cm long. Ötzi lived 5,300 years ago, and humans were not thought to have discovered copper for another 1,000 years, forcing archaeologists to re-date the copper age."

There are all kinds of theories surrounding how Otzi died. He was shot by an arrow that was still lodged in his shoulder when found. Otzi is amazing and has been studied since his discovery.

You can visit the model March 1 through Jan. 15, 2012, at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano, Italy which is his museum. The body is kept there permanently in cold storage.

      Palenque

Palenque, in Southern Mexico, is absolutely one of the finest and most grand of the discovered Mayan cities. Although it is one of the smaller cities, it boasts the most spectacular ruins. The images are emotionally moving and we can only imagine how impressive it must have looked at the height of it's majestic power.

Palenque is home to the most impressive Mayan burial ever discovered. Lord Pacal, ruler of the city for 68 years, was found under the building called the Temple of Inscriptions. Pacal was one of the longest reigning rulers in history - of any country. He ascended the throne at age twelve and held it until he died at age 80. He died in the year 683 AD, and his son, Kan B'alam II, took over and also became one of the most impressive rulers in history.

Their city, to this day, is an archaeological treasure trove. Pacal's tomb is covered by a lid that has sparked "Ancient Astronaut" debates, although it also can be explained in conventional Mayan religious beliefs. It is, nevertheless, an amazing example of Mayan art and architecture no matter what side you believe.

Far from being "cavemen" or "savages", the Maya built sky-high concrete, stone and stucco buildings, that are barely eroded even after a thousand years. Their architecture is legend and pretty astounding. It's so impressive that even after centuries of decay they are in better condition than anything we could ever build right now, "at the height of modern civilization." Surely nothing we build in any of our cities today will be standing that proudly in 3oo years let alone a thousand.

The tops of these skyscrapers poke out of the forest canopy and are reported regularly by pilots although hardly any archaeological effort is put into them. Scarcely 1% or LESS of Mayan civilization has been unearthed. The magnificent cities we've uncovered so far may pale in comparison to what is still hidden deep in the jungles of Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico. Even today with GPS and modern technology we've hardly scratched the surface of the Central American jungles and there are plenty of areas that have yet to see a modern human being.

The Maya territory stretched far and wide. Ball courts have been found in Puerto Rico and evidence of Mayan peoples as far north as Illinois (Cahokia) and as far south as along the coast of Peru and even further. For all we know they may have sailed up the Delaware River. It's really not out of the realm of possibility considering they sailed up the Mississippi River. Columbus reported seeing a Mayan canoe that was hewn from one gigantic tree trunk and held more than 30 men and their cargo. Imagine!

One of the most fascinating aspects of the Maya was their star knowledge. Their Venusian calendar (the tracking of the planet Venus) is only .008% different from ours. With all of our high powered telescopes and modern computers, they a jungle people, considered primitives by many, were our equals in astrophysics. We are willing to bet the house that WE are the ones that are wrong and that .008% is correct. Seriously.

Also, equally fascinating is the fact that the Maya vanished from their cities virtually overnight. The cities were empty when the Conquistadors came and to this day, no one really knows what happened to the pre-Colombian Maya. There are Maya today living in modern Guatemala and they adhere to the old ways, but the "new" old ways. They don't speak the original dialect.

There are only four known Mayan books that still exist. The Mayan Codexes or Codices. The Spanish destroyed EVERY OTHER SINGLE TEXT, except these four.

One, the longest at 74 pages, resides in Dresden, Germany and is called the Dresden Codex. It its the earliest known written book from the Americas. "The Dresden Codex contains astronomical tables of outstanding accuracy. It is most famous for its Lunar Series and Venus table. The lunar series has intervals correlating with eclipses. The Venus Table correlates with the apparent movements of the planet. Contained in the codex are almanacs, astronomical and astrological tables, and religious references. The specific numen references have to do with a 260 day ritual count divided up in several ways. The Dresden Codex contains predictions for agriculturally-favorable timing. It has information on rainy seasons, floods, illness and medicine. It also seems to show conjunctions of constellations, planets and the Moon."

      Amazing!

      Enjoy these pictures of Palenque...

Another Day Another Demand From The Pharaoh

As The Great Pyramid Turns...Today in Zahi Hawass news...

Today's demand from Dr. Hawass is to Germany. Zahi wants the Queen Nefertiti Bust (seen above) returned ASAP.

Egypt doesn't care that the bust has been in a Berlin museum for decades. It's part of the colonial pilfering of Egypt and Dr. Hawass wants it back.

An official request has been sent by Dr. Hawass's office to the Berlin Museum.

The museum is saying "NO!", the piece is too delicate to move.

We've just backed up a pace or two. Who says no to The Pharaoh? Does Berlin have any idea of the shittstorm it's bringing upon itself? Give it back! Before it's too late!

      Göbekli Tepe

This is by far the most important archaeological and historical site you've never heard of.

Göbekli Tepe is a "stonehengian" like site in Southeastern Turkey, about 500 miles from Istanbul, in Sanhurfa. It's actually called The Turkish Stonehenge. It was discovered in 1994 by a local shepard and is currently a dig site led by the German Archaeological Institute, headed by chief archaeologist Klaus Schmidt.

At this point only 5% of the site has been excavated. But that 5% is so incredibly astounding that it is being called the most important archaeological find in HISTORY. That's right, folks. History.

Why? What is Göbekli Tepe and why is it heralded as the greatest discovery in modern times? Better yet, why have we never even heard of it?

We can answer that last one easily enough, no conspiracy theory here. It makes news in Europe all the time. Americans just don't seem to give a flying fuck about anything of historical importance. Sorry to be so cynical. We're just going on experience here.

Which brings us back to the first two questions. What is IT about Göbekli Tepe?

Göbekli Tepe (GO-BECK-LI TEP-EE) is the site of the OLDEST archaeological dig on the planet. The dates put forth by archaeologists are astounding. It was built somwhere between 11,500 and 12,000 years ago. We want to think it is the first BONA-FIDE ANTEDILUVIAN (Pre-Flood) site ever discovered, but we have a theory on that.

Göbekli Tepe is the oldest human made place of worship yet discovered. Hands down. That means it pre-dates Jericho, anything in South America and is beat only by the 100,000 year old gold mines in Africa. (Which are currently not being excavated. And are not on the archaeological radar. We're talking MAJOR conspiracy there.)

Thus, the structures (at Göbekli Tepe) not only predate pottery, metallurgy, and the invention of writing or the wheel; they were built before the so-called Neolithic Revolution, i.e., the beginning of agriculture and animal husbandry around 9000 BC.

It's so much older even than Sumer. And Sumer was known until now to be the beginning of history. Göbekli Tepe is twice as old as that and literally doubles human history. It's incredible.

The figures on the pillars unearthed so far represent animals of all shapes and class. A veritable "Noah's Ark." Interestingly, Göbekli Tepe is located in the shadow of Mount Ararat where Noah's Ark was said to have been left after The Flood.

This leads to our theory. "The Noah's Altar Theory", which we at Omni are coining as a term.

First a note about The Flood Myths around the World and the many names of Noah. We know Noah as the Flood survivor named in the Hebrew bible. God came down, spoke to Noah and asked him to build an ark to save his family, other righteous folks and one of every animal on Earth.

But Noah is known by many names:
      Sumer: King Ziusudra
      Babylon: Utnapishtim
      Greece: Deucalion
      China: Yu
      India: Manu
      Scandinavia: Bergelmir
      Welsh: Dwyfan
      East Africa: Tumbainot
      Mongolia: Hailibu

Oh, jeez this goes on and on. EVERY civilization on the face of the Earth has a flood myth and a flood hero. For a semi bit more intensive list go to:
      talkorigins.org

Back to the Hebrew version and Noah. The Bible states that the very first thing Noah did when he landed and was safe was build an altar to God. Genesis Chapter 8 Verse 20: "Then Noah built an altar to the LORD."

This is what we think Göbekli Tepe could be. Noah's Altar.

"Noah" was technologically savvy enough to build an ark to survive the global flood from the last ice age, and his people lived long before The Flood. The Antediluvian Society. A civilization that existed before the great global flood. This altar seems to be his work of praise to the almighty God.

What would this altar look like? Would it have animals carved on it? Isn't Noah synonymous with animals?

Interestingly, Göbekli Tepe was purposely buried. That's right. Tons of soil were carefully packed around the structures until it was invisible to the naked eye. It was that important. To save it from invading hordes or other destruction and to save it for US so that we may study it under a modern trained eye. We thank those distant ancestors who so carefully preserved this amazing archaeological site for us. Otherwise it may have been reduced to rubble and we may never have seen it or known about it.

It lay underground for millenia, undisturbed and intact. What it is and what it tells us about ancient man is nothing short of astounding. Here's the thing. We are supposed to believe that Göbekli Tepe was constructed by "people a stones throw away from Cavemen.*" Yet when you see the superior stone work and reliefs it is CLEAR that master stonemasons were at work here.

It is yet another megalithic structure that proves we have lost an epoch in our history. We did not go from "cavemen to striped toothpaste**" in one shot. Long periods of history remain hidden from us. We have these ancient structures that PROVE that humans have a MUCH LONGER history than historians will allow us to believe.

Artists rendering of what Göbekli Tepe must have actually looked like.

So is Göbekli Tepe Noah's lost altar? 95% of the site is STILL UNEXCAVATED. It's anyone's guess when they will find an inscription that tells the real story. But for now, we're going with our theory. It seems to fit.

On a secondary note to this story:
The second thing Noah did was build a vineyard and get drunk. Genesis Chapter 9 verses 20-21: "Noah was the first tiller of the soil. He planted a vineyard; and he drank of the wine, and became drunk." Way to go Noah! If we survived the end of the world that's what we would do too.

This article came out the other day and reports the first industrial winery. It is located in Armenia...the same Armenia where Noah's ark is said to be.
      Noah's vineyard?

Structures and sites like Göbekli Tepe make us want to know more. More about human origins and try to understand pre-history.

"Those who cannot remember the past
      are condemned to repeat it."

The Pharaoh's First Interview of 2011

Dr. Hawass is back! Okay, he never really left but it's been a few months since anything new was breaking.

Here's an excerpt from the interview on Discovery News.com

King Tut's Wife's Tomb May Emerge in 2011

The tomb of King Tut’s wife, a buried pyramid, the Great Pyramid’s secret doors, and the final resting place of Cleopatra and Mark Anthony: these discoveries could await us in 2011, according to Dr. Zahi Hawass, chief of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities...

Read the rest of the article from Discovery News.com

We cannot post the video of the interview itself.
You'll have to follow this link.

We have to say though, The Pharaoh is remarkably...sedate. It's quite the departure from his usual amped up self. And we have to say, it's very Nice.

Regarding the actual news, first let's say it's very exciting that they have discovered a buried pyramid! Of course excavations are underway, Dr. Hawass waits for no one. We'll soon know what they discover there. Finding Cleopatra's Tomb will be the Egyptian discovery of the century. That will be freaking awesome! King Tut's wife's tomb will also be a great discovery. But, as far as the secret doors in the Great Pyramid go, forget it. Hawass has that shit buried so deep, we'll never know unless he gets the rights to air it on Fox on 12/21/2012!

      Archeological Treasure Trove in Jeopardy

An estimated THREE MILLION separate artifacts, found in a grassy floodplain in Australia, face an uncertain future as officials decide to go ahead with pre-planned highway and bridge.

The artifacts, dating back some FORTY-THOUSAND YEARS, offer an unprecedented look into Aboriginal life in Tasmania and Australian history.

Michael Mansell, legal director of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, says: “That’s a place that really strikes at our heart, and is about our identity, our past and our future. When you stand down by that levee, you can feel the presence of our ancestors. This is “cultural vandalism". We thought they would share our excitement about this discovery, but instead they just saw it as a handicap to their highway,” he says. “To them, white heritage is sacrosanct, but Aboriginal heritage, they’re happy to build straight on top of it.”

"If all else fails," says Mansell, "Aboriginal people are prepared to blockade the riverbank and prevent the bulldozers going in."

Damn right! We are appalled at the lack of respect for these cultural antiques. It's the Australian archaeological discovery of a lifetime and if this site isn't worthy of protection than what the hell is?

      Happy Birthday, Graham!

Our favorite author and iconoclast, Graham Hancock, turns 60 today.

His books are a remarkable, awesome and life-changing look at archeology and it's current restraints. In the majority of his books, Hancock sets out to change the norm which is the pathetic paradigm that our society as we know it is the apex of civilization as it ever was on the planet.

His latest work, Supernatural, is his best yet. This book deviates from the archaeological "norm" of his prior works and explores the Shamanic Legacies around the globe, their common elements and connections with the other worlds "within". This book is the "Gateway Drug" that can open your mind to serious new potential. We had never heard of DMT before and now we want to know everything.

1992: The Sign and the Seal: The Quest for the Lost Ark of the Covenant
1995: Fingerprints of the Gods: The Evidence of Earth's Lost Civilization
1996: The Message of the Sphinx: A Quest for the Hidden Legacy of Mankind. Published in the United Kingdom as Keeper of Genesis: A Quest for the Hidden Legacy of Mankind
1998: The Mars Mystery: A Tale of the End of Two Worlds

2001: Fingerprints of the Gods: The Quest Continues (New Updated Edition
2002: Underworld: The Mysterious Origins of Civilization
2004: Talisman: Sacred Cities, Secret Faith
2005: Supernatural: Meeting with the Ancient Teachers of Mankind

Hancock's basic theory is that we are "a civilization, a species with amnesia". Here is a quote from Fingerprints of the Gods:

"..., there is a common legacy of all these world wide ancient civilizations that they do not even address. This legacy lies not in the 'modern' myth of Atlantis, but in the myths and legends of each of these civilizations which make common reference to cataclysms, especially floods, similar gods or god experiences, and precessional and other astronomically significant numbers, etc, etc. The writing, architecture, and agriculture of these ancients are by products of their development which had its roots in a lost civilization of 12,000 years ago."

      Stonehenge Discovery

      Sunrise at Stonehenge - June 21, 2010

Archaeologists hailing from England, Austria, Germany, Norway and Sweden have made a huge discovery at Stonehenge. Apparently, they have unearthed a second circular "henge" that was once a wooden structure. Perhaps the precursor of the stone circle we see today.

No word on why so many countries are involved with the archaeological dig over at Stonehenge. It's like the United Nations.
