The "NoNoNoNo" Cat

This has to be seen to be believed and even then it may just be "enhanced" video. But for sure, it's pretty fucked up. And hilarious.

Most cats will run when they are scared, but this guy just keeps fluffing up and fluffing up and arching his back and yelling "No!"

The Strange and Sad Cute Little Red Seal

These amazing pictures of a strangely colored red seal were taken by by photographer Anatoly Strakhov who spotted the sad seal hiding under some logs on Tyuleniy Island, Russia.

The seal was alone waiting for it's mother to come and feed him. He is almost blind, they say, and cannot see very well.

He was "shunned" by the rest of the seals for being a "ginger".

"Tamara Cooper, head of the animal care team at the National Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, Cornwall, said: 'It's certainly unusual, but there are many colour variations within seal species.

'There's no denying it's rare to see seal pups with such pale features and blue eyes. It's not a species I’ve seen before.'"

He has been taken to a "dolphinarium" where he will be cared for.

If we can find out more, we'll update the post.

Is he the cutest thing ever?

Bird Attacks Cat. Cat Doesn't Even Notice.

Either this cat gets attacked all the time and is over it, or he just doesn't care much.

We feel sorry for the poor little bird who is trying unsuccessfully to scare the cat away from something the cat doesn't care about either!

Mom's Pride and Joy

Check out this adorable baby lion from a zoo in Australia! The four week old cub enjoys some time with Mom, Kiamba.

Kiamba is a seven year old lion and this is her first cub. It's a rarity for a lion to only birth a single cub so this little guy or girl is sure to be mom's favorite and get all of her attention.

It is too early to determine the sex of the cub. Mom, Kiamba, is due to be sedated in another 4 weeks so zoo keepers can get a closer look at the new baby and get all of its vitals.

There is an ebay auction going on now and ending June 14, with the highest bidder winning the right to name the new cub.

We think it's a boy...and would name him Leonidas.

Check out this video of Mishka and then Youtube her. Her proud parents have posted numerous videos of her saying everything from "How you doin'" to "Obama"!

Arthur, Shiloh and Thunder

Okay, since The Omni Report is about to turn into the Animal Report, we might as well share this old video that is making internet rounds today.

It's a clip from Theater of the Sea, a marine animal park in Islamorada, Florida in 1997. Arthur is the cat and Shiloh and Thunder are the dolphins.

What's cuter than a cat?
How about two dolphins?
How about one cat and two dolphins playing and being cute together?

IT'S SO CUTE IT WILL PROBABLY KILL YOU.

PREPARE AND BE FOREWARNED.

Oh...Hi!

Hello, World!

This baby giraffe smiles just hours after he was born at the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday morning.

Mom and Dad, Tessa and Kimba with new baby
in one of the best family portraits ever.
Could there be a more loving family?

Look the eyelashes on Mom, she's gorgeous! And Dad seems just as proud of Mom and baby as any human would be too. Such a beautiful family.

"Speaking to Cincinnati.com, the zoo's executive director Thane Maynard said: 'When there’s a birth of an animal, it’s awe-inspiring because nature is a phenomenal system.

That’s true when a mouse is born, but when you’ve got a 6-foot baby that comes out and flops on the ground, it’s just the darnedest thing. It goes without saying, this is an exciting day.'"

Two New German Polar Bear Babies

Exactly four years almost to the day after the Berlin Zoo debuted little Knut, who we sadly lost this week, the Nuremberg Zoo proudly presents little Gregor and Aleu. The four month old, 45 pound, twins made their public debut yesterday to record crowds.

Gregor and Aleu with Mom, Vera

Visitors were as delighted to see these two little guys as they were years ago to see little Knut. The two certainly made an impression running around and swimming with their mom for almost four hours.

"Keeper Petra Fritz said: 'Vera is taking to motherhood very well and the cubs are in excellent health. They are are just like her - bold and adventurous. They are just so sweet.'"

Although they can't really replace Knut, it is nice to see them. They look happy. Knut too had a brother that died a few months after birth, so maybe these two will a have a happier time or easier go of it than Knut, since they have each other for company. Plus, their mom didn't reject them, unlike poor Knut, so these two have already got so much more on their side. Little Knut was so alone.

Let's hope for the best for these two little guys!

One Tiny Pool for Two, Please!

Look at these adorable baby elephants, Baylor and Tupelo, as they take a break from the heat at the Houston Zoo.

TOO CUTE!

Note to Ringling Brothers - This is how you treat babies!
Not the despicable and cruel way that you do!

Here's Baylor the very first time he was ever in a kiddie pool:

Another Baby Video

This one is so cute. Everytime the baby's mom sneezes the baby freaks out and then laughs his head off.

We're not sure why the internet was invented but this has to one of at least 2 reasons. Baby and animal videos.

A Mother's Loving Embrace

Look at the loving face of Comel the orangutan. Her baby, as yet unamed, was born at the Singapore Zoo recently. He is a newborn. AND SO CUTE! But not as pretty as mom, who's human eyes tell it all. "Look at my baby boy. I love him!"

The Zoo is sponsoring a naming contest for him.

"There are four choices - Ah Boy, Bino, Terang and Xing Xing.

Zookeepers say he is friendly and always has a smile and Ah Boy is a common term of endearment for boys in Singapore.

Bino means 'brave' in Bahasa Indonesia while Terang is Malayan for 'bright'. Finally, Xing Xing which is Chinese for both 'star' and 'ape'.

There are two weeks left to go and at the moment Bino is the most popular name."

Awww!

Our choice of the four is Xing Xing, (pronounced Zing Zing). He's a star and an ape. It's perfect.

This Cat Wears Her Heart on the Outside

This cat, named Bette Davis, was abandoned by heartless owners and was found dirty and emaciated by rescuers at a cat shelter.

They were astonished to see that she has a perfect heart mark on her side.

Could you imagine dumping such a nice kitty?

Bette is pictured here with Katie Barkell, one of the compassionate and wonderful people that volunteer at the Gables Farm Dogs' and Cats' Home in Devon, England.
