Big Splash is a Big Dog Worth Big Money

This dog was sold to a wealthy Chinese man for over $900,000 making him the world's most expensive dog.

Big Splash is a Tibetan Mastiff, a breed reputedly owned by Gengis Kahn and Lord Buddha. He and his kind are rare in Tibet now with only a reported 20 left, but are one of the world's oldest pure breeds.

Big Splash is still a puppy, weighs in at more than 180lbs and stands almost three feet high.

The new owner hopes to make money by using Big as a stud dog. The mastiffs have become a sought-after status symbol for China’s newest millionaires.
