The Men's US team played a friendly against Argentina last night that led to a 1-1 tie. Overall, the US team played very well against an Argentinian monster with Lional Messi scoring 1 and coming close to scoring another 3 or 4 himself alone. The domestic MLS season has started with all US teams in their second week. The Philadelphia Union are 2-0 having won both matches they played 1-0. So far the new goalie, phenom Faryd Mondragon, is working out VERY WELL. And of course, Fan Favorite Sebastien Le Toux, had a hand (or in this case foot!) in BOTH goals with assists. Le Toux is easily the best player in the entire league.
The Union take on the L.A. Galaxy next week in LA so look for Le Toux and Company to kick David Beckham's and Landon Donvan's asses in.
